QOLP-34. EVALUATING ADJUSTMENT DISORDER AND POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER IN BRAIN TUMOR PATIENTS

Abstract Patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors are particularly susceptible to psychiatric comorbidities. Adjustment disorder (AD) post-traumatic stress (PTSD) prevalent in cancer patients benefit from focused treatment; however, few studies have assessed these conditions both tumor their caregivers. This study aims evaluate the prevalence of cancer-related AD PTSD caregivers, including gliomas, meningiomas, metastases other types. caregivers at University Washington’s Alvord Brain Tumor Center completed modified ADNM-20 PCL-5 questionnaires screen for PTSD, respectively.
